Hello Cheery Lynn designs friends!
Kianel here with you today for a project I made for the new challenge over at TOMIC which is about Halloween but not a card and I came up with a Halloween hat which is about 30cm large!!! I had a lot of fun creating this project with my Cheery Lynn designs dies, my Magnolia stamps and my Creative Inspirations paints.
To decorate the top of the hat I used a piece of music paper I found at a flea market and used the XL Silver stackers circle to cut it out exactly where I wanted as you can see through them! Soooo clever!!! To put under, I used the XL scalloped circle stacker and made a little hole in the middle of each scallop. Then I inked and bent some of them to make it look more vintage. I added my favorite die at the moment: the small lace faerie queen with angel wing. Isn't that beauty just perfect? It just pops up from the hat and I decorated it with pearls. To take all the small pieces away easier, just use the tool set and if you do use the Cuttlebug like i do, don't forget to grab your Cuttlehug for a perfect cut!
To make my clustering I used beautiful flowers that I mixed with Cheery Lynn designs dies called "tropical flourish" and took the leaves from the "Judy's blooms" die.
I then created some small scenes using my stamps and decorated with Cheery Lynn designs dies. I used a tag that I embossed with the grunge embossing plate called "faux" to add texture to it. To make it emboss correctly, I used the embossing pad that Cheery Lynn Designs carries.
Here you can see parts of the "fanciful flourish" die which is covered with shimmer paint and that I combined with the "cherry blossom" die. The little blossom is cut in white paper that I inked and the big one is cut from an old book page.
And here you can see the flower coming from the "Judy's blooms" die that I love to combine with flowers
Well, I hope that you will like this project as much as I enjoyed creating it. Take care, see you next week, love from France, Kianel.
