I Love You with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello again! I'm sharing new card for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday using lots of
Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts. I love the big heart in the center. I distressed the edges of the "Heart shaker" and added little pearls on the edges. The adorable "hearts" have a couple more choices of design. It's all in one set of die cuts.

My go to "french pastry" is a great doily to have in your collection, die cut it in green. I also love the "flourish #8" for the leaves. I die cut it out in green and colored the leaves with a darker copic marker. I added a sheer green ribbon to add a little extra something.

A closer view....

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hope you enjoyed!

Olive You 12" x 12" Layout with Cheryl Walker

2:30 AM 0 Comments
Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today's layout is using Cheery Lynn's beautiful dies to adorn this page. I love the Sweet William Flowers on this, they are pretty simple to make, as all I did was distress them and then glue them using the Best Glue Ever from Cheery Lynn.

For the page itself I used the Club Scrap Trattoria collection for all card stock and design papers. Next for the corner brackets I used Cheery Lynn's Dusty Miller Framed Corners B883

The flowers were done using Cheery Lynn's Sweet William Strip and the red card stock from the Trattoria kit. I did distress each flower using Club Scraps Hybrid Ruby ink for the petals, and then added some pearls from Really Reasonable Ribbon to each. The greenery behind the flowers are cut with Cheery Lynn's Flourish #8 and Club Scraps Green card stock. The flowers were put together using Cheery Lynn's Best Glue Ever.

For the little Olive You tag -
I cut it using Cheery Lynns Dutch Daisy Tag and brown card stock. Next I used the same cream card stock that I cut the French Pastry Mega Doily with for my tags sentiment.

You're Beautiful Card with Cheryl Walker

Hello everyone, today I have this sweet little card I made using Cheery Lynn's gorgeous dies! I love these Floral Bouquet Kit flowers, they are so easy and fun to make! I hope you enjoy my post today :)

Floral Bouquet Kit die B777- I cut them out with coordinating design paper, and distressed them quickly, then added a pearl to the centers and hot glued them to my card.

Flourish #8 - cut out in coordinating design paper and glued to my card. Super easy!

Sentiment Layer was done using the DL282 Alpine Flourish Doily cut in a white shimmer card stock.  Next I layered the Pierced Stacker #2 XL20 and that was cut in matching design paper. For the actual sentiment layer, it is the Oval Classic M-7 die. I distressed it and stamped my Project bin sentiment on it.

Bow was designed using the Really Reasonable Ribbon monthly club kit for June.
My card came together super quickly as I was so busy prepping for our trip next month that I almost forgot this one, so I made this last minute last night. Hope you all like it :)
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Sweet William Card with Cheryl Walker

1:00 AM 1 Comments
Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all!
Today I have a card created for Cheery Lynn using the beautiful Sweet William Strip Flower die, along with a few other fun dies :)

I started with picking some design paper, and after that I knew what I wanted to do. The Sweet William Flowers are so pretty and I thought they would look perfect cut with the coordinating design paper from this line. I used Crate Paper line for this card. I did distress each flower, and kept them single layers, and added a pearl to the center of each one. Pearls used are 8, 10, 12 mm pearls.

The layers I cut are the Royal Scandinavian Doily die, LPC4 Circle die, Flourish #8 die, and of course the beautiful sweet William Strip die.

Cheery Lynn Dies Used:
Royal Scandinavian Die DL280
LPC4 Circle die,
Flourish 8 die
Sweet William Strip die B307

The ribbon, fabric button, and pearls are all from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I love how this card turned out, and so glad I pulled some of my older design papers out to use. It's nice to use them up, and it's like having new papers again...hehehhehe
Thank you for looking and hope you enjoyed today's post!
Have a nice day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Whatever You Are Card with Cheryl Walker

BE A GOOD ONE!
Hello everyone and Happy Friday to all! Today I have a sweet card I created using beautiful Cheery Lynn dies. One of my many favorite dies is the Tea Rose Die Strip from Cheery Lynn. However, I LOVE all their flower strip dies as it makes it so easy to create flowers. On this card I decided to use three of them, along with the #8 flourish, Priscilla Doily and # 2 Pierced Stacker die.
I chose to use this beautiful new design paper from Club Scrap called pattern play, and also used the coordinating design paper for my tea rose flowers, then dusted them with a grey ink. I also added pearls to the centers. The green leaves were dusted using a green Club Scrap ink. The flourish was colored with moss green ink and placed first before the flowers and leaves.

'Whatever You Are BE A GOOD ONE' is from The Project Bin stamp set called "Wise Men". I stamped it in black ink using the Mini Misti tool, thank God for that tool as it makes stamping so much more fun....hehehehe.

The bow was created using Really Reasonable Ribbon Black Gingham ribbon, and lastly I added sewing in grey for the layers.
