Hello, it's JENNY posting today with a layered card.  These dies are so beautiful and intricate I decided to keep it simple.  I don't usually use a lot of black on my cards but black can be such a crisp almost statement color so I thought I'd try something different.

I began with a black 5.5" card base.  I cut the Historic Barcelona Square and the Royal Scandinavian Doily out of white paper and layered a piece of Tiffany-blue colored card stock in between.  I layered another square of blue card stock on top and then adhered a black Royal Scandinavian Tag using foam tape.  Thank you is glued to the top of the tag.

I don't know if you can see it well in the photos, but Thank You is covered in glitter glue and I added four rhinestones to the corners of the alpine doily die for a little extra glamour.   This card was simple and elegant and could be easy to replicate multiples as a gift for a bridal shower.

Hi, it's Jenny here with a Thank You card.  I love layering doilies to make cards.  You can achieve so many wonderful and varied looks by stacking different doilies and stackers that you might not immediately think of combining.  For this card I cut the Royal Scandinavian Boutique Stacker  out of a patterned paper and backed it with a gray A2 size card.  I layered the Alpine Flourish Doily on top cut with a pale gray paper.  A light blue Royal Scandinavian Tag is the backing for the Thank You phrase.  Thank You was cut twice and slightly offset for a shadow effect.


Last I added the floral arrangement for some added interest.  If I needed a really quick last minute card, it would have worked without the flowers but I love seeing how paper flowers transform when molded with a stylus tool so I added them.  I used the smaller of the two dies in the Judy's Blooms set and cut four flowers to make the two blooms.  The leaves were cut using Flourish #14 and I added a few Tiny Fanciful Flourishs for interest.

Hi, it's Jenny here today with a card inspired by this week's Sparkle & Shine Challenge.  I bought some new design paper recently and I wanted to make something with muted shades. When I put the pieces together I didn't feel there was enough contrast so I changed the colors by adding in the blue-greens and the card came together.

The card base is a 5.5" blue-green.  The gray patterned paper on top was cut with the Horizon Boutique Stacker Square. I used this die on my card last Thursday too.  It's my go-to large square die as it always adds a bit of interest and elegance.

I cut two Horizon Fishtail Banners and glued them so only the tails would show.  I wanted to give the illusion of one long banner.  I then adhered the Fleur De Lis Doily Circle cut out of gold glitter paper.   It's popped up with foam adhesive for dimension.  A blue striped paper cut with the Pierced Stacker #3 was layered on top and then I added the Royal Scandinavian Tag #1 stamped with the sentiment to the very top. I added clear glitter glue to the sides of the tag.  Last I cut gold corners using the extra corner included with the Royal Scandinavian Tag #1 and used one of the extra negative fleur de lis on the "fabulous" tag.  I hope you can see all the sparkle and shine in the photos.

I started by layering the background onto a blue 5.5" card.  I cut the cream layer a little smaller and glued the green design paper layer on top which was cut with the largest French Flair Stacker.  I then layered cream paper cut with the Royal Scandinavian Doily, blue paper cut with a smaller French Flair Stacker and then topped them with the Royal Scandinavian Tag #1 and the word Enjoy.  All three of the top layers were adhered using foam adhesive.

The Ivy Corner Flourish was cut out of blue paper.   The flowers were created by cutting the Sweet Williams die out of a shimmery cream card stock. The edges were inked with broken china distress ink and they were crumpled and stacked.  The flower centers and little flowers on the ivy are from the Embellishment #2 die and then pearls were added.
