French Flair Holiday Card

3:30 AM 3 Comments

Sandy here with you today, filling in for Alison.  Without a doubt, my favorite stacker is the French Flair and I really love the new Horizon French Flair Boutique Stackers released last month.  I began my card with the largest of the French Flair Classic Stackers; die cut from white card stock.  Next came the largest of the Horizon French Flairs; die cut from red card stock.  Using the next smallest French Flair Classic, I added a DP panel to my red French Flair.  Using the middle size of the Horizon French Flair, I die cut another red panel and using the coordinating French Flair Classic, added another DP panel.

I die cut a Circle Classic Stacker from white card stock; adding a green Sophie's Heart Mini doily.  Then I die cut Poinsettia Strip from red card stock and assembled my flower.  I staggered each layer to give it a full look.  I also pinched each petal along the embossed center line.  Finished size is 5 5/8" square.

Citrus Fresh

3:30 AM 5 Comments

Hi and Good Morning Everyone, Alison here today :)

Well I was feeling bright and summery when I made this card, and I also fancied a bit of a challenge!  I dont do CAS very often (or very well!) and I also never play with orange!  So this ticks both of my 'out of my comfort zone' boxes. lol.

I started out with a 6 x 6 inch scalloped blank card base and layered First Edition papers onto white American Crafts Cardstock.

I then placed the Dutch Scalloped Square frame over my dotty paper and then added the scalloped square and square die cuts.  I cut the gorgeous Sophias Heart mini doily for my centrepiece and added the sentiment on top.  For a finishing touch I made 2 daisies from the Daisy Flower strip and topped off with a little card candi.

Simples!

All dies used on this card are:

DL140 - Dutch Scallop Square
DL238 - Sophias Heart Mini Doily
XL-2 - Scalloped Stackers Square
L-1 - Classic Silver Square Stackers
XM-5 - Scalloped Circle
XM-4 - Circles
B259 - Daisy Strip.

Thanks so much for visiting out blog today, and dont forget you can enter our Weddings challenge until saturday over on our Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge blog.

Have a smashing week,

I coloured my image and backed onto aqua card cut with the Card maker scalloped rectangles and then added the cute clouds and Birthday Sentiment

Told you it was simples! :)

Sisters and Friends

3:30 AM 3 Comments
Anyone who knows me, knows that my sister is my best friend - so I really had fun putting this card together.   I was a little creative with the Sister cut - adding an "S" to it from the end of the Mother's die.  That is one of the things that I really love about our sentiments - they are all the same font and size, so it's easy to combine them.  I made another project this weekend for Earth Day, and just combined the "ea" from the Easter die, and the rest of the letters from the Mother's die - to form the word Earth.

The flowers were created with our latest strip dies - and lots of pretty greenery from the new release as well.

This week at the challenge blog,we want to see you Mother's Day creations.  Play along for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate.

I'm perfect just the way I am....

3:30 AM 3 Comments
Hello Cheery Lynn Fans, Tamara Here and welcome to another Sunday Inspiration.  Today I would like to show you a tag that I made .
Papers I used were from Bo Bunny and just went so perfectly with my colours and scheme.
Loving the little bird in the birdcage..
The Tiny Dollies are perfect for tags.  I have painted it first with Eco Friendly Paint (Aged Gold) then distressed over the top with Walnut Satin.

Here is a close up of the new Shasta Daisy Strip flowers. I have painted again with the gold spritzed with water, Scrunched them up,  dried using my heat gun then dipped them into melted beeswax.

Hope you likey today, I'll be back next Sunday with more inspiration for you.  Don't forget to head on over to the challenge blog and join in for your chance to win $20 coupon to spend in the Cheery Lynn Store.

Hugs
TAMARA
