Caring Thoughts Card with Bonnie Garby

Hi everyone, it's Bonnie again from Make Time to Craft.  Today I'm filling in for Amy and I'm showcasing some more of the wonderful May New Release Dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I'm really loving the new frame and flower dies.  This card features the Sakura Flower die which was a favorite from our Blog Hop.  I cut the die twice - once using green cardstock which I used as the base and a second time using a piece of watercolor paper colored with Ken Oliver Colorburst pigments.  I snipped the flower portions off from this die cut and glued them to the green base.

I chose to make a white on white muted background by cutting the Quatrefoil frame from white and layering it on a white background.  I love the subtle look this creates.

The Sakura flower is mounted on the Pierced Stacker #2 which is layered over coordinating ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The small sentiment was cut out using the Nesting Doll Tag and trimmed with some baker's twine and burlap string.
