Hi, it's Jenny here sharing a new card. I've had a lot going on lately (mostly fun but busy) and I wanted to make a fun, lighthearted card. I pulled out my alcohol ink markers (Copics and Shin Han), Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, some of my favorite patterned paper colors and started playing.
The bottom layer is 5 3/4 square piece of patterned paper, topped with a 5 1/2 piece of white paper that I embelished with the Silver Stitching Tool die. I added another patterned paper on top and cut into it with the next largest size of the stitching tool. I love the stitched edge this creates. I then layered the new Pierced Stackers #3, a Royal Scandinavian Oval Doily, and then the top layer is a Silver Stacker from the Oval Classic set.
I cut the smaller Dream word out of the Dream Big Phrase set and glued it to the Paris Signs 4. The beautiful Whistle a Happy Tune note was cut out of gray paper and sponged with cracked pistachio distress ink.
Last I made the pink flowers using the Small Gardenia, distress inks and a stylus tool to mold them. I scrunched the flowers up while they were still wet with ink to get a more distressed crinkly look and after it dried I added extra worn lipstick distress ink to the edges with a foam applicator. The blue daisy was made with the Shasta Daisy die. The edges were sponged with cracked pistachio distress ink and molded with a stylus tool. I cut the leaves from green paper using the new Leafy Flourish die. Yellow rhinestones were glued to the centers of the pink flowers and a blue pearl was added to the daisy to add sparkle.
