Hello friends,
I'm so sorry for not sharing my post with you last wednesday as my Father -in-law had expired and I was in state of shock and grief. He was very dear to me and I'm still at loss of words. But responsibilties is really something that I cannot forgo so here I am with my post where I share a card with doilies. Cheery Lynn designs has some amazing doily dies and I really love each one of them.
For this card, I have cut three panels measuring 2.5 inches by 5.75 inches.in white cardstock and rounded of the two opposite corners from the top and bottom panel. Then using the Italian Flourish Doily as a stencil , I inked some distress inks on the three panels creating a backing for the doily. Then I have cut three doilies in shade of deep pink, orange and yellow, cut them in half and placed over the inked image of the doily. The flowers are handmade and the stamp is from Justrite.
The list of Supplies
Lilith Doily W/Angel wing DL 263
Italian Flourish Doily-DL 103
Judy's Bloom -C184
Distress inks-fired brick, spiced marmalade, wild honey
stamp-justrite

A lovely card and the way you have used the doily as a stencil is a great idea.
