Winter's Butterflies and Snowflakes

Good Morning, Cheery Lynn Fans, did you all enjoy seeing the new dies released on Saturday...a lot of must haves in there.

Following the theme this week over on the challenge blog where we'd like to see you adding snowflakes to your card, I've created my card using a few of the new dies.

The mesh border was cut out and then laid on top of some silver glitter paper, with the Lady Kate Edger underneath top and bottom. I then popped up the Chasing Rainbows Lace Doily with Angel Wing onto blue cardstock cut out with the Angel Wing, the sentiment was computer generated and laid on top.  I added the Small Lace Faerie Queen with Angel Wing, again cutting out the Angel wing with the same silver glitter paper.

The corners are from the Lace Corner Deco E set and in keeping with the challenge theme, I've scattered a few snowflakes around using the Snowflowers #2 and the Snowflakes.

Now unfortunately in this picture you can't see, but both the Lace Faerie Queen and the Chasing Rainbows Doily have been sprayed with Crafter's Companion Iridescent Spray to give a lovely shimmer to them. I just wished the camera had picked it up.
