Make flowers with your corners - Kianel

Hello,
Kianel here with you showing you how to make flowers with your corner dies as i've been asked to. Hope this tutorial will help.
But first, i made a whole project to showcase the flower: it is an enveloppe with 2 pockets. That's a pretty cool shape to work with as you can then leave things to offer in the pockets inside. Just play with your reflection dies and you will have endless possibilities!
The basic shape is made using the mini pearl rectangle mega doily die, biggest size.
I then added to it half of a mini pearl circle mega doily to close the enveloppe. On the front of this one, i cut a smaller piece of patterned paper using the XL circle stackers and sewed a thin lace all around.
Inside the enveloppe, i created 2 pockets using the mini pearl rectangle mega doily to get this cute little design on top of them.
On the front, i created a tag with the mini pearl french flair mega doily that i flipped in two and decorated before fixing it to the ribbon.
And here is the flower i created using Lace corner deco E die, Little circles stackers, flourish leaf strip and cherry blossoms dies, and adding a few decorations. So here is how i made it.
5 easy steps to follow to get the petals. Here you can see all of them but i am going to show you them in detail after that.
Step 1: cut out 6 lace corner deco E dies in white paper( i used 220gr for this one). Ink all the borders.
Flip in two towards the inside.
Then flip each side in two again but towards the outside.
You will get a small accordeon like this one.
Using the smallest die in the Little circles stackers set, prepare a base for your flower and ink. Put some glue and fix each petal to the center of the circle. Don't put them too near from each other because then will be wider afterwards.
Here is what you get after flating a little all the petals to get a plain flower. Just like lace!
I then used the cherry blossom larger die that i covered with shimmer paint and inked. You can put every flower you want on the center of your big flower as long as it hides it. I then added two pearlized buckets. And voilĂ !
Papers are from GCD, dies are from Cheery Lynn designs, sentiment stamp is a Magnolia, paint from Creative Inspirations and decorations from my stash.

Have fun and don't forget about our weekly challenge with pretty cool stuff to win this month so give it a try, it's worth it! Lots of love from France, Kianel.
