French flare shaped card - Kianel

Hello dear Cheery Lynn designs lovers!
Kianel here with you today to show you a card i made in a winter spirit and to fit the Cheery Lynn designs challenge that we are hosting this week: SHAPED CARD - anything but square.
Like Sandy told you yesterday, the XL stackers are the perfect dies for every cardmaker as the largest size is perfect for the base of your card and just take a look at all those different shapes!
Here you have a French flair XL stackers and it is about 14,2cm wide!!!!I inked it in purple and then used the Large french flair piercing tool to have the piercings on my base and be able to sew a piece of lace all around, following exactly the shape! What a clever tool!!!
I then cut another layer using the french flair doily stacker that i inked in brown and placed it on the stacker with the lace to show all the details and finesse of the die better.
Using a smaller size of the Large silver french flare classic stackers i cut my printed paper and distressed the borders. This one is also sewn.

The beautiful stamp from Whimsy stamps is cut out using the Large silver circle classic stackers and combining it with the similar size of the XL scalloped circle stackers which fits perfectly under!
To decorate my card, i used the following dies: pine branches, olive branches, exotic butterflies small, small angel wings and the Cutie 2 die under the big rose.
Stamp is a Whimsy Stamps, paper is from Stamperia, colouring is made with distress refills and Creative inspirations paints which also cover most of the die cuts.

Thanks for the lovely comments you leave us every day on this blog and we sure appreciate them a looooot! Now grab your stackers dies and play with the shapes to enter the challenge and win a $20 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn designs!

See you next week, love from France, Kianel.
