# Borders # Butterfly

A Little Patterned Paper Is All It Takes

Good Monday morning Cheery Lynn Designs blog readers, it's Tanisha here with another layout featuring CLD's fabulous dies.

My goal when creating this layout was to make something pretty using minimal pre-made embellishments. I fished through my stash and pulled out some of my favorite dies (11 in all) and went to work.

I cut several flowers and used pop dots in varying thicknesses to add dimension, added butterflies and flourishes for a little whimsy, and a couple of borders to ground the layout.


I used a doily die to highlight my title and finished it off with a large French Flair die to house my journaling.

    Your page is stunning! I love to see all your scapbook pages, they inspire me to create. Who needs exspensive premade embellishments when you can make such fabulous ones yourself!
