For my card today, I want to give you a sneak peek at a new heart doily die soon to be available at Cheery Lynn Designs. The detailing on this die is just incredible and sadly my picture does not do it justice. It is far too pretty to cover up on it's debut so I made a quick and easy card.
Using purple Basis card stock, I die cut the heart doily and then die cut just the portion of the heart that is on the bottom, trimmed it out by hand then popped it up over the original for some dimension. I used the same card stock to die cut the new Heart Chain border as well as the 5.5" card base. Using light purple Basis card stock for the background, I embossed it with my Petite Hearts XL embossing plate. I created the flower using my Tropical Flower die for the base, dry embossing for some roundness and then adding three more flowers from my stash. I used my Scalloped Circle Little Stackers die for the sentiment from Hero Arts.
