Hello Pumpkin with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi everyone! Welcome back to a new autumn card using dies from Cheery Lynn Designs. I love the pumpkins and I used two different sets layered on top of each other.
The birch tree was die cut in kraft cardstock and the leaves are from the flourish leaf strip. I cut the leaves off and placed them throughout the tree. The cute animals are also part of the birch tree die cut. Lots of adorable animals to choose.
The sentiment was stamped in brown ink. The cream background was also embossed with fall leaves but my picture didn't show it up like I wanted it? Sorry.

Happy Fall with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hi welcome back to Cheery Lynn Designs with a super fast clean and simple card! I have to tell you if you're looking for something easy and fast to send out to to family and friends for the fall/autumn season, this is a perfect card for you!

I decided to make it a rainbow card with using one leaf and a brick background. That's it.

Love the details of both the embossing and the leaf. The sentiment is from Verve.

Happy Turkey Day with Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi friends!  Jenny here today with another new tag.  I had fun playing with a number of sprays.  The colors muddied a little but I liked the subdued look.  The darker background made it really quick to just gently add a little edge color to leaves from the Fall Leaves Set without coloring the entire leaf.  Leaving the leaves white really shows off the beautiful design on the leaves.

I've been having so much fun making tags lately.  Sometimes when I feel my mojo slipping I find that switching to another type of project and it somehow re-energizes me.  The last thing I did was add  orange string and twine, both give it a little more texture.

Abundant Blessings with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 1 Comments

Hello again! Two Saturdays in a row for me! I hope everyone is having a great day!
I've been busy crafting away in my scrap room. Getting all kinds of ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Today, I'm sharing this autumn card for Cheery Lynn Designs using their beautiful detailed "fall leaves" set. I used the largest leaf multiple times in orange and yellow cardstock.

I placed my favorite "french pastry doily" in the background and stamped the sentiment from Verve Stamps on the "horizon fishtail banner"  The "floral bouquet kit" I die cut in kraft and used a yellow topic marker on the tips. It gave it a different darker color to match the patterned paper in the background. Lastly, I added a bow in the center. I sure do love my bow maker!

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out this week's challenge for your chance to win some $ at the Cheery Lynn Designs Store!

Have a great day!

Grateful Card by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 1 Comments

Hello there, this is Eva here and today I am sharing my last  creation for the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.  It has been so fun to be on this team, but it's time to let someone else have fun as well.  I am forever grateful to have been on this amazing team.  I thought the perfect card to leave with would be a card that shows my gratitude, so I made a grateful card.  And since fall is coming I wanted to use the new Fall Leaves dies.

Since I love to watercolor so much, I wanted to showcase my card with that technique.  To start out, I created a card base using mint card stock.  Next I die cut a Rectangle Scalloped LG Purple Stackers Nesting Dies out of water color card stock and painted my back ground.  Next I die cut the Fall Leaves  out of water color card stock and painted them with water colors to create the prettiest fall leaves I could come up with and added them to my card in a collage.  I added a pretty bow to them.  Next I die cut the Grateful sentiment using black card stock and added two leaves in the corner.

Hope you like this little card and here is the list of the dies I used to create this card with:

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see your card in our current challenges.

Hugs,
Eva

Happy Turkey Day by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 1 Comments

Hi everyone, it's JULIE here today and I am excited to be sharing another card with you using dies from our latest release. This card measures 8" X 8" to give you an idea of the size.

For my Autumn/Fall foliage I cut out several leaves in White cardstock. I used Distress Sprays on them to get all the different shades. I layered onto corrugated card that had been sprinkled with some Frantage.

My Sunflowers were coloured with Distress inks and micro beads added to the centres.

My hazelnuts I double layered the base area and added a crackle glaze onto the nut area and once dry added a little Distress ink to highlight the cracks.

My berries were also coloured with Distress inks and two layers of Glossy Accents were added letting it dry in between.

I added my doily to the centre and arranged all my foliage and flowers gluing everything in place and finishing with my cute Turkey.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card. I hope you feel inspired to make a card with  the Autumn/Fall Leaves die and why not incorporate it into our Current Challenge - Doilies Theme. Love to have you join in the fun with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree here at Cheery Lynn Designs.
