I started with an A2 top fold card base made with white cardstock. I stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the card base and used the Curved Border set to create the layered background for the top portion of the card.
Cheery Lynn Dies used:
I created the papers that I used for the flower and leaves using several colors of distress inks and I then spritzed it with water to create some visual interest. I cut the flower layers and inked the edges of the petals. I then used a stylus and foam pad to shape the petals and leaves before assembling the flower. The center was finished off with a 12mm dotted wave rhinestone from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
My card was then topped off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow made with Tropic and Light Coral Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope I've inspired you to pull out one of your Cheery Lynn flower dies and create a pretty spring themed card. Happy crafting!

So pretty! Love the plaid Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coordinated colors, Bonnie. I never noticed the tiny hearts in that botanical set until just now on your card. Thanks for the share and showing what this new die set really looks like IRL.
ReplyDeleteSuper colour combo and an elegant design. Lovely work.
