When I auditioned the beautiful Sakura Flower die on a plain white background, it was too 'blah'. A patterned background was too busy. What to do..... Well, I went with a white on white background for a subtle textured look. It gives some interest without competing with the flower. I just love this look. I simply cut a Lattice piece in white cardstock and adhered it to a white piece of cardstock. Then I added the floral die cut on that.
Cheery Lynn Dies used:
I added some pretty white mulberry paper as my last layer before the card base to soften the look of the card. My bi-color double-loop bow was made with Hot Pink and Pearl Pink Delicate Stitched Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I created the bow on my Bow-it-All V3.0.brand new Pretty in Purple themed challenge starting tomorrow. We'd love to have you enter for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Cheery Lynn Designs.
