Hi, Jenny here today. I am enjoying playing with the May new release background dies. Today I'm sharing another way they can be used. For this card I cut a piece of stencil plastic with the Chevron die. Then I used my new stencil with a white crackle paste to create the subtle background. I sprinkled silver and gold chunky glitter and mica powders on the paste while it was wet.
Imagine was cut out of gold shimmer paper. The white layer was matted onto silver and then a light blue A2 card. The Sakura flower was colored with distress ink and Copic markers, I used glitter glue and a clear gloss to embellish the flowers. Last, I added a gem to the center of the large flower. The flower was adhered to the paper with double sided foam adhesive.
