AUTUMN COLORS WITH ANITA KEJRIWAL

Autumn is its best in some parts while winter is setting its feet in some parts of the world. We are still basking in the glory of bright autumn colours. I just love these rich shades and the the sound of dry leaves that appear to be like music. Nature is so beautiful in Autumn. So here I bring today not one but two cards featuring the colours of Autumn. Two because .... I have used the same die in two ways and I wanted to show you how a negative of a die can be used as a stencil to make amazing backgrounds. This happened when , I just could not find the right shade of patterned paper for my card and then , this idea came in.

For the first card, I have cut the leaves and then distressed it with peeled paint, gathered twigs and rusty hinge. Then I applied mod podge dimentional magic and covered it with Rangers distress glitter all over it and left it to dry for a few hours. Then I put it on the card using the foam tape to give a pop up effect. Did you see the glittery shine on the leaves. I think they look so beautiful.

For this card, I simply used the negative of the dimensional leaf above and used it as stencil  and coloured with distress inks. Then I stamped with Hero arts script texture stamp and an Impression Obsession stamp to create this background. The rest is simple.

List of Supplies

Distress inks-Peeled paint, Rusty hinge, Gathered Twigs
Mod podge dimentional magic
Rangers dsitress glitter
stamps.-Hero arts, Impression obsession
So I hope my shades of Autumn will inspire you all to make your projects. Do submit them to the Cheery Lynn Challenge -AUTUMN COLOURS and win for your self some amazing prizes. Do stop by and leave a few words. Thanks for being there !!!!

Beautiful cards, love the way you used both the positive and negative. I love the coloring of the leaves, and the background on the second card. Great job.
