Sandy here with you today, filling in for Amy. I found this image I had colored last year for a Copic class I was teaching and thought it was time to add it to a card. I created my card base using Scalloped Rectangle Reflections Boutique dies. I love that these dies are open ended because you can make about any size you want with them. I started with a folded piece of card stock 5 3/4 x 6. I only wanted the scallops on 3 sides, I think it makes a more masculine card. I used the same dies to make the center scalloped strip on my card. The image was die cut with a Silver Coved Rectangle die and backed with a matching Horizon Coved Rectangle Boutique die. I added a Pocket Watch w/Angel Wing, another masculine die. And the last step was the sentiment stamped onto a Tags 1 and backed with the same.

Sandy this is such a wonderful card!!! I love the design, colors and your dies are perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteA picture just does not do justice to that card. Having one of your other cards that you used this stamp on, I can say first hand that your coloring looks like a portrait in real life! I love using the pocket watch on a masculine birthday cards and set the time to the time of his birth to make it extra special. Love your fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteVery attractive card with a beautiful picture!
