Sandy here with you today. Alison will be taking a break from crafting for a bit. The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs is Snowflakes. I think I have that covered with my card. I started with a 5.75" square blue card stock base. I added my DP then die cut a Snowflake Mesh border also from blue card stock.
Did you know that the snowflakes in the mesh border match the medium snowflakes that Cheery Lynn makes? Using Snowflowers Set One and Set Two, I added matching white snowflakes to the border, rotating them so they are staggered.
I used the medium die from my Horizon Square Boutique Stacker set to back this cute image from Sylvia Zet. For the snowflake in the corner, I used Snowflake #5 as a base and then layered two Snowflowers as well as a small snowflake from the Snowflakes die.
You still have time to enter this week's Snowflake challenge for a chance to win a $20 store credit to Cheery Lynn Designs.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card and an adorable image! I learn something from you all the time. I never would have thought to layer that lavender snowflake with the white to tie in the lavender in her coat. Love it! Layering the white snowflakes on the blue border creates a lovely balance. The Horizon stackers are my favorites.
