Hello dear Cheery Lynn Designs friends,
Kianel here with you today to show you another card with flowers made out of dies. This time i decided to work with pink shades and an oval shape.
The base of the card is the XL oval stacker and the printed paper is cut using the large Siver stacker oval. Around my card, i placed several Cuties 1 which i like to use as borders that i sewed and inked.
The flower i made using flower dies from the Cherry Blossoms die. I wrapped several pearl stamens in 2 of them slightly inked and then added another one. I then put 2 of the big cherry dies also inked and added some white flower soft powder to give some effect to my flower. I also put some inked olive branches here and there. And glued the Exotic butterflies small with half pearls.
The main image is placed on the Polynesian sails oval die that i decorated with half pearls. This one really is like lace and just take a look at those wonderful details! I also used the fanciful flourish die which is sooo elegant on every creation you can make.
Don't forget to join our current challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree. And be there on the 15th when the all dt will reveal the creations made with the brand new collection of dies: you sure don't want to miss that! Love from France, Kianel.

Gorgeous card! Your flower is absolutely beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card as always, Kianel. I love the dies you've used. I have a couple of them, but I'd love to get the Polynesian oval one day. Hugs, dj1952
ReplyDeleteHi again. I meant to ask how difficult was it to use the cuties as the border? Hugs, dj1952

Hello DJ,
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for your kind comment. And to answer your question, no, it's not difficult at all. The thing is to soften the border by flipping it about every half centimeter alternating up and down. Not sure if i make myself clear here but if not, just let me know and i will try to make a tutorial for the next post.
big hugs from France, Kianel.
Very pretty card Like the way you've used all the dies. Great ideas. Edna
