Hello there!
Kianel here with you to close the color combo challenge the DT members got from Sandy. We are to use red/black/white colors on our creations. I have been thinking a lot about what i was going to make and after several attempts i finally decided to completely change my first idea and make a quite simple card with a handmade background, so here it comes:
I used large "scalloped oval" and "oval" nesting dies. The background is made out of a hero arts "thank you" stamp that i inked with stazon opaque and then colored the paper with "barn door" distress ink. I sewed black lace all around and fixed it on the scalloped oval die that i slightly inked in black. I then cut out 5 small leaves of the brand new "dimensional small leaves #2" which are also embossed leaves and inked them with distress "black soot" to reveal all the veins of the leaves! Such a terrific effect!!! Here is a close up of the leaves:
Don't forget to become a follower and post about the candy on your personal blog to be eligible for winning a $40 gift voucher! Perfect for buying those wonderful new leaf dies!(click on the image to get all info):
Have a great day! Love from France to you all, Kianel.
