Joy Bell Card with GD Cherry Nelson

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi there Cheery Lynn peeps!  How was your Christmas?   Cherry here for my final post as guest designer here on the blog.  I know Christmas has come and gone but I have one more holiday card to share.   It is my last guest post here this month.  I have had so much fun playing with these wonderful dies.  I used the Shaker bell die again, this time using it to frame out this sweet little bird image.  I topped the bell off with greenery from the Joy to the World wreath dies.  I also used this set for my simple sentiment.  I just snipped off the the rest of the sentiment and used the Joy.
I also used the Swedish Spring oval frame die and the ornament #1 die layered at the top and bottom for interest.
A different color combination of gold and green.....kinda like it!!  Always fun to break out of your norm.  Here it is all finished.
Hope you have enjoyed!  I know I have really enjoyed hanging out at the Cheery Lynn blog! Bring on the new year!!!   Cherry

Fall Pumpkin Patch Card with Guest Designer Kathy Clement

3:30 AM 9 Comments
Hello, Friends!  It's Kathy Clement here, and I'm very excited to be the October Guest Designer at Cheery Lynn!  I'm so impressed with the detail and quality of these beautiful dies, and had a wonderful time putting together this Fall Pumpkin Patch Card to share with you here today.

This is a 5x7 Gate Fold Card made with Graphic 45's Time to Flourish paper collection.  The Pumpkin Patch Die looks amazing when die cut with patterned paper.  I topped the pumpkins with a little "frost" (Stickles Frosted Lace) and then nestled them amid some gorgeous mums made with the Chrysanthemum Strip Die.  I love the color contrast!

I love how easily intricate dies, like this Ornament 1 Doily, cut through cardstock like buttah!

Here's a peek at the inside.

I added more pretty pumpkins and flourishes on the inside of the card.
Thanks so much for joining me today.  I'm off to play with more of these fabulous Cheery Lynn dies!

Cheerio,
kathy

The Last Roses of Summer By Kathy Clement, Guest Designer

3:30 AM 6 Comments
Hello, again!  It's Kathy Clement with a romantic card celebrating the last roses of summer.

I created a bower of beautiful roses by die cutting Prima Stationer's Desk papers with both the Large Rose and Medium Rose Strip Die.

I wanted to add some lovely green foliage to my roses, and the Fall Leaves Dies were the perfect pairing.

I added some lovely texture and dimension to the background paper by cutting a doily from the patterned paper.

The best thing about these roses is that they will bloom all winter long!

Thanks so much for letting me stop by and visit again!

Cheerio,
kathy
