ReplyDeleteBeautiful hop. I like animals and speciality dies. I am particularly taken by some new releases from Cheery Lynn. Have you seen them? I just want to sit down and make skeleton, zombie and frankenstein monster cards. Are you going to be doing a vampire as well? And a big werewolf? To go with the cute kid werewolf. New stash is very inspiring. Off to make bootastic stuff. Hugz

Great Blog hop! I seem to have more floral and animal dies. My inspiration usually comes from my mood that I am in when I make my cards and doing these blog hops for great inspiration also. Thanks
ReplyDeleteMost of my designs are inspired either from a challenge or from the person I am making a card for at the time. I like all types of dies but I tend to buy the ones that might fit people's hobbies or likes so I have many themed dies. fishing, hinting, cooking, clocks and of course gardning.
ReplyDeleteI like word dies with a shadow and anything coffee related. I have a ton of your flowers which are always beautiful.
ReplyDeletemy favourite dies are floral ones, but ones that are not too "3-D", i like to be able to post them in normal envelopes without worrying they will get crushed.
ReplyDeleteAnd inspiration? all in my crazy mind lol
Gorgeous fabulous cards from all your Design Team! Of course you have to meander through each persons blog to see all their wonderful creations, too.
ReplyDeleteAnswers to your questions:
1. I prefer background, floral and corner dies.
2. To get my inspiration I often check out Pinterest and follow lots of blogs on Bloglovin to get oodles and oodles of great ideas!
Love the flowers!! All great blogs! I tend to use the butterfly dies the most. My flowers just don't always turn out so pretty. I get most of my inspiration from Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteI think of who I am making the card for and then go from there, they are the inspiration! :) I've never met a die I didn't love lol I do enjoy the 3D flowers and I love adding 'sprigs' like your Wheat Heads (just made some with gold foil--the detail is AHmazing!) Off to HOP!
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration at all the hop stops....love them all. My favorite dies are probably florals and also flourishes. So many possibilities with these. I would have to say that I get most of my inspiration from watching YouTube Videos.
ReplyDeleteI love, pretty much all dies, from cars and trucks to flowers and everything in between;)
ReplyDeleteAnd what inspires me, is the question: how beautiful can I make this card/ project for someone, so that they know they are special to me.
Wow the cards are incredible on the blog hop I like all kinds of dies but flowers are probably a favorite. I found a gazillion dies on the hop I'd like to buy and will have to budget them out. I have collected Cheery Lynn dies for years and have lots of the detailed doilies and butterflies.
ReplyDeleteI love al of them that I can afford to add to my stash. However, my favorites are doilies, flowers and birds. My inspiration comes from who the card or layout is for. I use them for my inspiration as well as some internet ideas as well. Thank you for the blog hop contest. All of your designers are amazing and each made wonderful a distinctly unique projects! I loved them all.

ReplyDeleteI am inspired by anything beautiful. Colors, fabric, gems and pearls. Everywhere I look, there is beauty. Thanks for the chance to win.
I like all of them but specialty dies are my favorite. My inspiration comes mostly from other crafters. The creations by the bloggers were fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is flora-tastic! You gals out do yourselves every time, thanks for all the inspiration. Flower dies make making flowers so much easier and a little less time then having to punch each out one at a time. Quite a few years ago I loved the idea of using cake doilies on cards but didn't want to spend money on them. That's when I fell across a card in a mag with a little different doily on its card (English tea doily, the rest is history been a die addict since. My inspiration comes from all around (my kids, color combo in a magazine....) sometimes when I'm stuck or not inspired all will come flooding in while gazing at the night sky.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great projects featured and wonderful dies. I like the flower dies the best. I like to get inspiration from blogs, online forums and sketches/sketch sites. Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI have been so inspired by all the beautiful flowers I have seen this afternoon...thank you! I LOVE FLOWER DIES! Leaves, of course, are in second place. Dimensional flowers are so dramatic and beautiful! The very first die I bought was a Cheery Lynn doily...and my inventory has grown from there to include all sorts of shapes. Flowers, however, remain my most frequently used dies. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, choosing to make my floral displays as realistic as possible.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed looking at all the different ideas. Some were beyond my skill level, but nice to look at. I couldnt find a place to post at most of the blogs, I looked and looked. Thanks for the experience

Wonderful job by all the bloggers. My favorite type of dies are the animals (esp. dog and cat). Then I love the accent dies. My inspiration comes from what I see on the site and how I feel about the person I am making a card/item for.
ReplyDeleteI have so many dies, and so many interests that it is hard to choose just one!! But I guess I will say that I LOVE flower dies, and intricate frames, and flourishes!! I also really love birds, and would maybe like to see some paper pieced bird dies.....
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a nature inspired crafter... the colors, shapes and perfect imperfection of animals, trees, landscape all fuel my creative process!
My favorite dies are word dies, but I'm not picky. I love the flowers and leaves and all CLD that have such amazing texture. I get a lot of inspiration from crafting blogs, but also from my own stash. Sometimes it just calls to me! :o) Great hop! I enjoyed every stop!
ReplyDeleteI think it is almost impossible for me to choose what dies are my favorite. I love the lacy dies, the word dies, I am just now exploring flowers dies and I am totally hooked on them. Then there is all the shape dies that add so much to my scrapbook pages and my cards. Sometimes I am inspired by a stamp, sometimes colors but mostly I just start 'playing' and the creative juices flow. I don't really have a pattern of attack. I will say that paper crafting has gotten me through some dark times and lifted my spirits. I do use Cheery Lynn dies daily and love them!

ReplyDeleteI like and use many different kinds of dies but I rarely make a card without flowers so they must be my favorites. I have most of Cheery Lynn's flower dies as well as many others. I have recently started making cards with scenes, usually a garden, so fences and garden accessories are now a necessity. I also like to use frame dies around my scenes.
ReplyDeleteMost of my inspiration comes from nature. I also get a lot of ideas from various blogs and Pinterest.
I find it very hard to resist flower dies, I would say they are my favourite. I am usually inspired by the blogs I see, I really enjoy blog hops as they give you the opportunity to see new wonderful bloggers and what they are achieving. Thank you for this blog hop.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creations by all! I love all dies. From Flowers, words to holiday dies.
ReplyDeleteMy Nature walks inspire my creations. There are a few trails around my home and lots of parks where I can walk or sit on a bench and make card sketches. I often pic a flower or two and photograph them to save their construction for future use. Looking at my die collection, Flowers and Rectangle frames are my favorites. I prefer the wafer thin dies, due to storage issues. I so enjoyed the Blog Hop and look forward to future releases.
