I always liked the Christmas song "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and thought this would be perfect to use with the Cheery Lynn Designs Clock w/Angel Wing. So I made that my focal point of this card. I started the base by layering the Coved Rectangle - Scalloped LG Stackers and the Coved Rectangle-Classic LG Stackers . The clock design on the background was made by inking up the Clocks Embossing Plate with black and embossing the Coved Rectangle-Classic LG Stackers.
I placed the Clock w/Angel Wing a bit off the side of the card and trimmed it. The sentiment was printed on the computer, then cut out with the one of the Circle- Scalloped LG Stackers .
This flower arrangement was created using the Poinsettia Strip , Holly Leaves - B183, Pine Branches , and the Flourish #10 . I spritzed the poinsettias with goosebumps and then inked them with distress ink. So anywhere the goosebumps spray is, the ink won't cover giving it the speckled effect. I then shaped them with a stylus and foam mat. Pearls were added to the center of the poinsettias.
Thanks so much for joining me today and for the comments that were left on my last post. You still have a bit of time left yet to join this weeks Cheery Lynn Designs challenge. I would love to see your creations. I hope everyone has a fun week creating Christmas cards for the special people in your lives. See you next Friday.
Debbie
