Sandy, here with you today, filling in for Rhonda. The challenge this week is Fun with Letters so I have created a fun hot air balloon themed card. I began with a card base 5 x 7 inches to which I added a Hot Air Balloon and Clouds embossed panel. I die cut the two largest of my Horizon Fishtail Banners, airbrushing some color before I removed the paper from the dies. I sandwiched the medium sized Horizon Oval Boutique Stacker Frame between the banners and then centered them onto the card. I also added a bit of color to the oval before removing it from the frame. I was using Copic marker B66.
I die cut one of the Hot Air Balloons along with it's Angel Wing, airbrushing some color onto the wing. The last step was my words, For and You. Before cutting my words, I added a piece from my Double-sided Adhesive Sheets to the back of the paper, then die cut through both of them. This put adhesive on the back of my words and made it really easy to adhere them.

This is very striking. Love the design and the fact that you only used one copic marker!! Maybe that's the one I need to buy. The balloon and background are lovely
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Would work for anyone, but especially for a guy. Had never seen the emboss folder before. Goes perfect with the die. Nice job. Edna
