Fancy Corner Cuts

Sandy here with you today filling in for Amy.  For today's card, I began with a French Lattice Large cut from Cryogen Metallic card stock.  Using spray adhesive, I added a DP background and then mounted it on to my card base.  In the January release, Cheery Lynn Designs came out with new Fancy Corner Cuts; four sets of three corner dies.  You get two of each design per set for a total of six dies.  For my card I am using Fancy Corner Cuts #2; the center die in the graphic below.

I wanted to see if I could make a fancy panel for use on my card rather than just fancy cutting my corners.  I started with a piece of card stock 3.5 inches square and then cut the four corners.  Here is the result...

I die cut flowers using my Shasta Daisy Strip die and my Daisy Strip die.  I crimped the ends of the shasta daisies down and dry embossed the petals of the daisies upwards.

The last step was to add some gems to the lattice.  A bright and happy card to celebrate the coming of Spring.
