Fairy vintage card - Kianel

Hello dear Cheery Lynn Designs fans,
Kianel here with you today with a vintage fairy card and a tutorial. Today i'm going to show you how to make a partial frame with your Reflection dies. Sorry this message came so late but it actually took me more than 6 hours to upload the pictures and write the text with Blogger today so i nearly gave up...but it finally decided to work after i lost my mind a thousand times, lol!
So here is the card:

It measures 18x14cm. The base of the card is made using the XL Scalloped oval stackers biggest size and combining it with the Large silver oval stackers to cut my patterned paper. The papers are from MME, the stamp is from Make it Crafty coloured with distress inks.

I made a second layer with a band which i decorated with Bunny and Chick border. (You can see it here under the mini flourish and the labels).

Third layer is a mini pearl oval mega doily size 3 under which i placed corners from the Lace corner Deco D set cut in 2. (it is the one in the middle).
Lace Corner Deco D
4th layer is the Manon's wedding garland placed under my partial frame.

I then created 2 small labels using the Little coved rectangle stackers smallest size.

After that i created flowers using the flowers from the Manon's wedding garland placed on a snowflake 5. There is also a mini fanciful flourish and olive branches to finish the decoration.
And here comes the tutorial for making a partial frame with the Reflection dies:
Step 1
stamp your image and mark the shape of the die on both sides so that you know where to place it when cutting and to know how deep you must cut your design.

Step 2
Cut a bit of your image so that you can pass the die under the paper to create the partial frame. (I want my little fairy to "sit" on the base of the die). I used the Reflection die mini pearl oval mega doily size 2 from the smallest one. Cut.

Step 3
Do the same for the other side

Step 4
Here is what you get when you have cut the frame. You can do that with all your reflection dies as they are "empty" in the middle, sooo cool! Just give a try!

So that's all for me now and i hope you will like this card and tutorial.

Lots of love from France, Kianel.

Thank you so much for your nice comments!
Maggs, to answer your question, the super cute stamp is called "Vixie" and is coming from the australian manufacturer MAKE IT CRAFTY.
    Hope this helps, Kianel.
