Hello dear Cheery Lynn designs lovers,
Kianel here with you today. Okay, i explain the tittle: i had made a card for today using beautiful dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and flowers that took me ages to make as i don't have enough patience for that, lol. I painted everything this morning and went to work letting that dry on my desk. BUT, i didn't close the door and just thought i did and that stupid cat of ours went in the room while i was away and played with the card!!!!!! So the result is that the card ended in the trash as the stupid cat just chewed the flowers and played in my paintings leaving coloured paws everywhere....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Luckily i had a little basket i saved for another post which is 7cm long, 4cm large and 10 cm high with the handle: perfect for Easter chocolates!!
The basket is made with "wittle weaver" die. I then made the flowers using the "medium rose" and "miniature rose" die and added the "tropical flourish" die. The handle is made using a piece of the wittle weaver die and decorating it with the edges of the bunny and chick border. A small exotic butterfly has been painted and placed on the top.
I encourage you to try those weavers and wickers dies because they are absolutely amazing to play with!!! 2 different sizes and 2 different models to have fun!
I think next time i will scrap the cat directly, lol!
Have a nice week end everyone and enjoy your dies, and don't forget to join the fun of our weekly challenge for a chance to win some goodies!
Love from France, Kianel.

LOL Kianel, I can so relate to cat issues... I have a paw print in the middle of a photograph on a new layout!!! Out of all the area she has, she will find the paint or ink pad. I don't know how many times my flowers have been removed from creations and chewed to smitherines... and my cat hops into my waste paper basket, waiting for the next piece of paper to go in to terrorise it.
ReplyDeleteLove your basket, those title weaver die's sound very interesting!! Like the way the paper fits together so neatly, leaves a lot to the creative imagination... your flowers are perfect, love the colour!
Oh my I felt so bad for you, we have cats also and they can be such little stinkers. I love the basket and you did a beautiful job on it.
ReplyDeleteLove the basket Kianel!! I haven't tried my weavers and wickers yet!! Guess I have to ditto the stupid cat!! My Callie will eat my projects too. So she is banned from my craft rooms!
ReplyDeleteI know you weren't happy with the kitty at all.... but the cat had a ball, I'm sure, playing. The fresh paint probably smelled so yummy! Your treat basket is beautiful and the flowers on it are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery nice and looks like you did an excellent job of putting it all together. Edna
ReplyDeleteOh my word that is hilarious! I mean the same thing happened to me a couple day ago, mine took mine because I used twine!

Thank goodness I have a dog and he doesn't eat anything he's not supposed too.
How nice of you to spend so much time making 'toys' for your cat! LOL! But you make the best baskets! We would love to see a tutorial on how to make them. I have one of your tiny baskets and it is so adorable, everyone who has seen it wants to take it from me. Ah, ah! Hands off!
ReplyDeleteOh No! What a bummer!! I would have loved to have seen what what was left as your work is amazing!! The proof is in the basket!!! Fabulous project!!
