More Flower Fun!!

3:30 AM 11 Comments
Hello! Have you enjoyed Cheery Lynn Designs new releases this week, as well as all the gorgeous designs by our talented team? Today I have a card sharing a few more dies that I was given to design with.

The base of my card is created using the Scalloped French Flair Stacker Nesting Die layered with the Classic French Flair Silver Stacker. I added a bit of texture to the card using the Woodgrain Embossing Plate. Using two pieces of Anastasia Border back to back, it looks like I added real lace! The newly released Flourish Band was placed down the center of the lacy strip.

I haven’t worked with velum much the past few years, but after discovering what a beautiful butterfly it made last week, I decided to dabble in the flower world with it. Choosing white vellum, I staggered three layers of Stacker Flower #4 topped with an assortment of pieces from the newly released Build a Flower #1 to created the flower center of the large daisy.

I topped the Two of Hearts with a Medium Rose created with pink velum. I really like the softness the velum flowers add to the project! I added leaves from the new Flourish Leaf Strip and Small Leaves 2.
There is still time to enter this week challenge for your chance to win the $20 gift certificate!
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Botanical Camellia Plaque

3:52 AM 12 Comments
I have always loved the Antique Botanical Prints, such as the one below that I found on

My project today was based on these types of prints.
I made this on a piece of 6 x 12 MDF board.

I used antique sheet music, decorative paper, paint and rub-ons for the base.

To create my Camellias, I used the following dies:

For the wording "camellia" and the letter "c" I used the following dies:

Camellias are one of my favorite flowers, ever and since my camellia has recently died, this was a labor of love for me.

Even thought Cheery Lynn Designs does not have a Camellia Die, I bet you wouldn't know it by looking at my flowers, agree?

It is so much fun to dream up your own patterns and ideas.

With Cherry Lynn Designs many different floral dies, you can almost make any flower you can dream up!

Be sure and see all our new release dies.  They are on the shopping website now.  You can find that link HERE.

Are you ready? I added parchment cut pixies to my jar today!!! A jar of wishes...
I actually used our newest release die and cut three separate ones and added them inside the jar!
I added another floral display spray with many scraps of designer paper and even the ribbon from last weeks napkins rings.
How is this for a blinged up jar??? There is pearls and gems and shiny ribbon and stickle accented
