Together Forever and Always Card by Amy Voorthuis

Goodmorning lovelies,

After a little break I am up and running again and did some designing....and oh boy it feels good to be back and design with my most favorite dies ever. Especially with all the new shaker dies {did you enter our blog hop last Tuesday??} If not please do and visit all the blogs so you don't miss out on anything.....so for today I will show you a shaker card with the pretty heart die and lovely shaker parts.

Tree Shaker Card by Julie Lavalette

Hi everyone, it's JULIE here today and I am sharing some Festive inspiration using the new Christmas Tree shaker die. I have made this card in mind that many of us like to make a lot of Christmas cards, so this is a design that won't take too long to make. My card measures 4 and a half inches square, this is smaller than my usual square cards I make.

My Christmas Tree was coloured with a mix of Distress Powder and a sparkly powder and filled with Metal Confetti, Micro Beads and Glass Glitter.

All my sparkly and snow layers were made by heat embossing with different colours of powder after die cutting them out. This takes a little longer to do but has the advantage of your glitter staying in place and not falling off.

In answer to your question Gail Lass, how do we manage not to have the glitter sticking to the acetate ? left in our comments on Blog Hop Day. I use Glass Glitter inside my shakers which is less static and our metal confetti doesn't hold a static charge. I also keep the protective paper over my acetate as I die cut it and only pull off as I am ready to glue in place. This way the acetate is not picking up static charge from your body. Hope this helps.

It's A Boy Shaker Card

Hello It's Debbie back with you from Debbie's Time Out. I am sharing another shaker card with you and featuring the Baby Rattle Shaker . Isn't it just too cute.

I picked a nice tiny poka dot paper in pale blue which is perfect for a baby card. I used the Baby Rattle Shaker , Lattice Heart and Vines and the Train dies for this card.

I embossed the rattle with silver embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment inside the rattle and added the Shaker Mini It's A Boy and Shaker Mini Little Boy shakers. These metal etches shakers are so cool. I put the Lattice Heart and Vines behind the rattle. Last I layered a tiny bow to the handle.

The train was also embossed with silver embossing powder.

Give Thanks with Lisa Blastick

Hi! I hope you had a good time Blog Hopping yesterday with Cheery Lynn Designs!

Meanwhile, today I'm sharing with you a card for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I have been making several cards with yellows, oranges and kraft so I thought I would remove the orange this time. The stamp image was colored with copic markers and then I chose the papers...it was die cut out with "pierced circles"

I stamped a sentiment with embossing ink and used white embossing powder on the "horizon fishtail banner" It is my go to die cut for many projects. I made the "daisy strip" flowers using all of them for the larger flower and then using the 4 smaller flowers for the smaller flower. The inside was made using the "black eyed susan strip" cut in half for both flower centers. I used the smaller of the leaves from "flourish #14" and in the background the beautiful "cape cod" doily

You can see here the "old brick" embossing plate. Love it!
