Masculine Valentine's Inspiration with Rhonda

3:30 AM 5 Comments
Happy Monday crafty friends!  It's Rhonda here today to share a project with you.

I thought I would challenge myself to create a masculine Valentine's card without including a heart in the design. Here's what I came up with:

"Always" (A2 size card)

I started with the Fiona's Magic Mirror frame, then added in a Rectangle Horizon Boutique Stacker Frame in red, some Chicken Wire which I cut into my own shape and layered on.

The hinges are cut from a scrap piece of cereal box chipboard.  I then inked them with some dark brown chalk ink and then added a bit of Viva Decor Paint in copper with a pin to each of the nail holes. You can also punch these pieces out, but I left them in place for texture.

On the upper left you'll see some Wheat Heads and a Tiny Fanciful Flourish, on the bottom right, two Miniature Roses with Olive Branches beneath.

Feminine card with Amy

3:30 AM 6 Comments
Hi everyone,
It's Amy here with you today, and I would like to share a card with you!

Cherish:
It feels like ages ago since my last post. There is a lot of things happening in my personal life that I had to deal with (the loss of two wonderful women in my life, my granny and my husbands granny in just one week four days apart.) With this card I would like to honor their life and show you how much I loved them and still do.
Cheery Lynn Designs is such a wonderful team to be on!
So I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Sandy, she offered to take my day and post her wonderful creations thank you so much for being there ;-)))
I went with this weeks challenge and created a card with the gorgeous Gardenia Strip, you can make so many different flowers with that one die. Which is awesome because I love to make my own flowers.
I love using the feathers of the dream catchers Cheery Lynn offers to make my flowers clusters more appealing to look at.
I would try and make a tutorial very soon to let you see how to created a couple different flowers with the Gardenia Strip.......

Pink Flowers with Feather

3:00 AM 7 Comments

Hi everyone!  My name is Holly Brown, and I am thrilled to be the guest designer for Cheery Lynn Designs this month.  I fell in love with Cheery Lynn Designs when I saw their dies a couple years ago, and I have had so much fun building up my collection and playing with all the different dies.

That's exactly what I did for this card today.  I just pulled out some dies and started cutting.  After mixing and matching and moving things around, I ended up with this.  The tiny pink flowers on the sides are from one die - Cuties 3.  I cut some of the Cuties 3 strips in half and rolled them up.  I left the top two rolled up and didn't pull the petals out.  The next two are the same thing except I pulled some of the petals out.  The two at the bottom are the whole Cuties 3 strips with the petals partially pulled out.

I used the following dies on this card:

Thanks for stopping by to visit!  I'll be back next Friday with another creation to share with you.  Enjoy your weekend!
